Fares

Senior (60+) Fares

  • $3.50 within Sheridan
  • $9.50 outside the 5 mile radius of The Hub

Individual Fares

  • $5.50 within Sheridan
  • $13.50 outside the 5 mile radius of The Hub
  • Packs of 10 tickets are available at a reduced rate

Book of 10 tickets:

  • $50.00

Seniors (60+) Book of 10 tickets:

  • $30.00

Rides within Sheridan city limits may be purchased Monday through Friday at The Hub front desk with cash, check or credit card. They may also be purchased from a Goose Creek Transit driver. Drivers can only accept exact cash, and do not carry change. Individuals must pay PER RIDE OR TRIP.

Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays

  • 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Please be ready prior to your scheduled pick-up time, as the driver can arrive within 15 minutes of your scheduled time (before or after) and be considered prompt.

Call for a ride from shopping no later than 3:00 PM.

Riders will not be picked up after 3:00 pm on weekdays (with the exception of medical and employment appointments).

Cancellations

Sometimes plans change and you no longer need a ride.  If you need to cancel for any reason, please call us as soon as possible.  This will save Goose Creek Transit the cost and time of an unnecessary trip, and allow us to provide a ride to someone else.

Reservations

Please make ride reservations for important appointments as soon as you make the appointment.  For example, if you have a doctor’s appointment in three weeks, you can schedule your ride three weeks in advance.

Reservations are based on space availability.  Same-day service is on space availability only, and/or for an urgent doctor’s appointment.

Public Notice for Operating Assistance/Capital Assistance

This is to notify all interested parties that Senior Citizens Council is applying for funding through operating assistance and/or capital assistance in the total estimated cost of $1,100,000.00 (federal and local) under the Wyoming Department of Transportation's operating and/or capital transit grant programs. The operating/capital assistance grant is funded by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and/or State Public Transit funding and is administered by the Wyoming Department of Transportation. This application includes a request for operating and/or capital expenses associated with providing public transportation within Sheridan, Sheridan County in the State of Wyoming. This application is on file at 211 Smith Street, Sheridan, WY 82801.  If requested, a public hearing will be scheduled, along with a notice indicating the location, date, and time of the public hearing.
