VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES OPEN AT THE HUB:

SNOW PATROL—The Hub on Smith has partnered with the City of Sheridan to offer snow removal services for those in need. We are seeking volunteers to help provide this essential service to vulnerable community members this winter. The City has developed a convenient smartphone app for volunteers, which provides addresses, special instructions, and details on tasks for each location. Volunteers will be entered into monthly drawings for prizes, including gift cards for gas and local restaurants in Sheridan, with each completed location. Join us in making a difference this winter!

TRAILBLAZERS— Trailblazers are a dedicated group of volunteers who support vulnerable seniors, encouraging their participation in The Hub’s services and activities. Trailblazers will meet monthly for ongoing education, connection, and support.

Meets Last Wed of the Month • 1-2:00 pm • Community Room

HOME DELIVERED MEALS DRIVERS—We are seeking drivers to assist our home-bound seniors. Deliveries are made daily, 365 days a year, between 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Volunteers receive a complimentary meal on the day they serve.

We consider our Hub volunteers as the mortar between the building blocks of its programs and activities. Volunteers fill in the gaps with their time, talents, and energy making us strong and secure.

Your volunteer support makes a meaningful impact on those we serve and can enrich your own life. Volunteering offers opportunities to develop valuable skills, connect with new people, and enjoy a rewarding experience.

Volunteers at The Hub, ranging in age from 10 to 98, contribute across various areas. With over 650 volunteers, they collectively donate an average of 1,800 hours each month to support our programs, activities, and services!

To become a volunteer, visit The Hub at 211 Smith Street to pick up an application or complete the online form below. Our team will reach out to schedule a follow-up interview and orientation. Some positions may require a background check.
