Hours
Monday through Friday
- 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays
- 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Please be ready prior to your scheduled pick-up time, as the driver can arrive within 15 minutes of your scheduled time (before or after) and be considered prompt.
Call for a ride from shopping no later than 3:00 PM.
Riders will not be picked up after 3:00 pm on weekdays (with the exception of medical and employment appointments).
Cancellations
Sometimes plans change and you no longer need a ride. If you need to cancel for any reason, please call us as soon as possible between 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM. This will save Goose Creek Transit unnecessary expense as well as allow space for others to ride.
No-Shows
A “No-Show” occurs when a vehicle arrives at a scheduled pick-up location within the on-time window, waits five (5) minutes and the passenger is not at the location of the scheduled pick-up or refuses the trip.
If a passenger No-Shows his/her first leg trip (e.g. outbound/pickup) and has one or more trips scheduled on the same day (e.g. return trip), Goose Creek Transit will automatically cancel the subsequent trip(s). It is the passenger’s responsibility to call Dispatch if the return trip is needed.
If after five (5) “No-Show’s” the passenger will be issued a verbal warning. If “No-Show’s” continue after the 1st warning the passenger will be asked to wait 2 weeks before being allowed to book a trip. If further “No-Show’s” take place the passenger will be issued a 2nd verbal warning followed by an additional 2 weeks of waiting. This process will continue until the passenger arrives on time and ready for pickup.
Reservations
Please call 24-hours in advance and up to 2-weeks out for your appointment. For example, if you have a doctor’s appointment in two weeks, you can schedule your ride two weeks in advance.
Reservations must be made no later than 3:00 PM the day before by calling: (307) 675-RIDE (7433)
Reservations are based on space availability.
