Caring for a loved one is one of the most meaningful things you can do—but it can also be physically, emotionally, and mentally exhausting. Whether you’re caring for an aging parent, a spouse, a friend, or raising a grandchild, you don’t have to do it alone.

The Hub on Smith provides education, resources, encouragement, and practical support to help caregivers care for their loved ones while also caring for themselves.

HOW WE CAN HELP

Information and Referrals

We'll help you navigate available programs, services, and community resources for both you and the person you care for.

Education and Training

Build confidence through workshops, classes, and practical caregiving education designed to help you provide the best possible care.

Dementia Friendly Wyoming

Through Dementia Friendly Wyoming, caregivers have access to dementia education, resources, support groups, and community programs that help families better understand memory loss and dementia.

Assistance

Borrow adaptive equipment such as walkers, wheelchairs, transfer benches, and more through our Loan Closet. You can also access books, videos, and educational materials through our Lending Library.

Caregiver Support Meetings

One of the main benefits of caregiver support groups is that they provide much needed social support. They are a great place to ask for advice, find out about useful resources, or vent frustrations. The Support Center can assist you with finding a support group that meets your needs. Please contact Emily Keith before attending (to ensure availability). 672-2240

There are several other community support groups, such as Al-Anon, Cancer, and Older Relative Caregivers, that are available to join. Call the Support Center at 672-2240 for more information.
