“Instead of caring about itself [the Senior Center] cares about others…We have deep trust for the Senior Center’s commitment to the future.” – Jim Scott
For over 40 years, The Hub has provided a wide range of community-based services to individuals and families throughout our county. These programs and services have been critical in helping people remain at home as they get older. Now more than ever, it is important for The Hub to continue careful planning to sustain services for the future generations.
Census data indicates that by the year 2030, there will be more people over 65 than under 18 in Wyoming. Baby boomers are beginning to retire in Sheridan. As the oldest baby boomers became senior citizens in 2011, the population 65 and older is projected to grow faster than the total population in every state.
The Loving Legacy Endowment Fund at The Hub was established in 2007 to increase financial independence and decrease reliance on uncertainties associated with federal and state funds. Endowment dollars generate income, a portion of which is available year after year, while the principal continues to build the fund for the future.
The Hub is committed to raising the money needed to provide financial security for our services – Meals, Transportation, Day Break, Help at Home, Activities, Volunteerism and Family Caregiver Support. Our goal is to build the Loving Legacy Endowment to $10 million dollars in 10 years.
We invite you to partner with The Hub in creating a lasting legacy. A contribution to The Hub’s Loving Legacy Endowment Fund is an investment in everyone’s future. There are a variety of ways to make your investment, including a one-time gift or contributions pledged over a number of years.
We would be delighted to meet with you to answer questions and to talk with you more about our organization and our plans for the future!
“The Senior Center is a wonderful thing for Sheridan… you can see where the donation is going, what it’s doing. I know my donations are doing good.” – Josie Schreibies
