VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES OPEN AT THE HUB
TRAILBLAZERS— Trailblazers are a dedicated group of volunteers who support vulnerable seniors, encouraging their participation in The Hub’s services and activities. Trailblazers will meet monthly for ongoing education, connection, and support. Last Wednesday of each Month • 1:00pm – 2:00pm • Community Room Click here for more information on TRAILBLAZERS
HOME DELIVERED MEALS DRIVERS—We are seeking drivers to assist our home-bound seniors. Deliveries are made daily, 365 days a year, between 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Volunteers receive a complimentary meal on the day they serve.
SNOW PATROL VOLUNTEER PROGRAM – Snow Patrol volunteers help Hub patrons by clearing snow from walkways and entrances during winter weather. A little time and a shovel (or snowblower!) can make a big difference in keeping neighbors safe and independent.

At The Hub on Smith, our volunteers are the mortar that holds everything together—filling the gaps between programs, activities, and services with their time, talents, and genuine care. Their energy strengthens our mission and supports older adults in meaningful, lasting ways.
Volunteering at The Hub not only makes a difference for those we serve—it can enrich your own life as well. Volunteers gain valuable skills, build new friendships, and experience the joy that comes from giving back to the community.
Our volunteer team includes people of all ages, from 10 to 98, who assist across nearly every area of The Hub. With more than 650 volunteers contributing an average of 1,800 hours each month, their collective efforts help make our programs vibrant, welcoming, and effective.
Ready to get involved? Visit us at our location at 211 Smith Street to pick up an application, or complete the online form above. Our team will contact you to schedule a follow-up interview and orientation.
