Join The Hub on Smith in celebrating 12 Days of Giving, kicking off on November 29, 2022 in conjunction with GivingTuesday. GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of radical generosity. It was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Since then, it has grown into a year-round global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
We think this movement should extend beyond a single day. As we approach the holidays, there is ample opportunity for each of us to give back to our neighbors and we encourage you to join us from November 29 – December 10, 2022 in donating our time, talents, service, and money. If you follow us on social media, you’ll be seeing some specific examples of how people in our community are celebrating 12 Days of Giving.
We’re excited to partner with First Federal Bank & Trust for this celebration. They have generously agreed to a dollar-for-dollar match on any donations made during this timeframe (up to $10,000 total). This means you can double your impact! And any amount helps – for example:

$50 can provide 25 rides on Goose Creek Transit (Fixed Route), 8 Home-Delivered Meals, 4 hours at Day Break, 1 hour of Help at Home service
$100 can provide 50 rides on Goose Creek Transit (Fixed Route), 20 Fun & Wellness activities, 16 Home-Delivered Meals, 8 hours at Day Break
$500 can provide 83 Home-Delivered Meals, 41 hours at Day Break, 13 hours of Help at Home service, 6 trips to Billings for medical appts (Goose Creek Transit)
$1,000 can provide 500 rides on Goose Creek Transit (Fixed Route), 200 Fun & Wellness activities, 167 Home-Delivered Meals, 83 hours at Day Break, 27 hours of Help at Home service
