DESCRIPTION:Elder abuse can take many forms\, including physical\, emotional\, sexual\, and financial abuse\, as well as neglect. This presentation offers an overview of how to recognize the signs\, understand risk factors\, and respond with empathy and respect. Participants will learn trauma-informed strategies to support older adults\, promote safety\, and connect them with appropriate resources. Together\, we’ll explore how individuals and communities can help prevent abuse and uphold dignity and well-being for all older adults.  \n\n\n\nTuesday\, May 19 • 10:00am • $5 voluntary contribution • Dining Room
