Antelope Butte Snowshoe Hike
March 27th we will depart from The Hub at 9:30 a.m., returning at 2:30 p.m. You will need to bring a lunch. Please sign-up at the front desk by March 22nd. Difficulty level – moderate.
Fort Phil Kearny Tour & Meal with the Story Lunch Bunch
Tuesday, April 10th join us as we enjoy a ride to Story for lunch at The Hub’s story meal site followed by a trek onto the fort for a historical presentation in the visitor’s center. We will depart from Heritage Towers at 10:15 a.m. and The Hub at 10:30 a.m. We will depart from the fort at 2:30 p.m. Suggested contribution for register seniors is $20.00 and for unregistered folks, it is $23.00. Please sign-up and pre-pay by April 5th, 2018. Difficulty level – moderate.
Annual Eaton’s Ranch Lunch Trip
Springtime at Eaton’s is always fantastic! Join us Wednesday, May 9th for lunch at Eaton’s ranch! The menu is roast turkey with all of the trimmings. We will depart from Heritage Towers at 11:00 a.m., The Hub at 11:15 a.m., and Tongue River Valley Community Center at 11:15 a.m. We must have a minimum of 5 people to run a bus from TRVCC. Lunch will be served at noon and there will be free time to explore following lunch. We will depart from the ranch at 2:30 p.m.
Suggested contribution for registered seniors is broken down as such:
- $20.00 includes bus fare, lunch, and tour
- $12.00 for registered seniors who provide their own transportation
- $15.00 for register folks from TRVCC
Fees for unregistered folks is broken down as such:
- $23.00 includes bus fare, lunch, and tour
- $15.00 for folks who provide their own transportation
- $18.00 for folks from TRVCC

Buffalo Creek Run
Thursday, May 17th 12:20 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. with Steve Stresky, Sheridan’s own Appalachian Trail champion. Steve has platted a loop trail for us to hike. The trail is located 9 miles east of Sheridan on US Hwy 14 in the Prairie Dog Creek area on WY State Trust Land. We will meet at The Hub Cafe for lunch at 11:30 a.m. Departure from The Hub is 12:30 p.m. Sign up at the Front Desk by May 10th. The difficulty level is easy to moderate.
Bird Watching at the Brinton
Saturday, May 19th. The Brinton Museum partners with Science Kids and the Big Horn Audubon Society to offer bird watching events every 3rd Saturday morning year-round and other gatherings. The Fun Bus will depart from The Hub at 8:30 a.m. to join the Brinton group at 9:00 a.m. Bring binoculars, a water bottle, birding guide, and dress appropriately. Extra water and a snack will be provided. Suggested contribution fo registered seniors who ride the bus is $5.00 unregistered folks is $8.00. Sign up and prepay at the front desk by May 15th.
Little Goose Creek Road
May, 31st, enjoy a beautiful geological hike at the foot of the Big Horns. Meet at The Hub at 9:15 a.m. return from the hike site at 3:30 p.m. Bring a lunch. Sign up at the front desk by May 25. Difficulty level – moderately strenuous.
Sheridan Pathway through Hume Draw and Kendrick Mansion Area
April 19th the group will gather for lunch at The Hub Cafe at 11:30 a.m. Departure from The Hub will be at 12:30 p.m. returning at 3:00 p.m. Sign up at the front desk by April 16. Difficulty level – easy.
Hole in the Wall
June 9th. The Hoof Prints Museum had the day trip planned with the fee set at $90.00, with an additional fee of $45.00. The deadline to sign up and prepay at the front desk is May 10th. Minimum registrations is 10 for a bus. Please see Jean Harm for more information. Difficulty level – moderately strenuous, must be able to walk a half mile.
